Natalie is a tattoo artist and cosmetic tattooist. With more than 10 years of experience in the tattoo industry and 5 years of professional tattooing, she’s had the privilege of helping clients express their stories through fine line and black-and-grey tattoo art. She has a passion for fine line, floral and animal tattoos and brows but her focus goes beyond aesthetics. Whether she’s working on a memorial tattoo or a set of cosmetic brows, her goal is always to create something meaningful that adds beauty and value to her clients’ bodies and lives.

every pretty picture deserves a pretty frame. these realistic crows were done entirely with a machine. we created a custom shape for her based on her facial features and her preferences. once healed she’ll come back in and we’ll make any necessary adjustments. i’m so thrilled with how these came out. #ladytattooer #browtransformation #browtattoo

i loved making this freehand rosary for Paola. sometimes the best way to make something flow w the body is to draw it on.
had a sweet sentimental little birthday. back to reality today so here’s me, my art, and a few things it took me 33 years to learn:
you are defined by the love you give not the love you receive. a true giver can never be “used” or taken advantage of. no one can get over on you when you’re the source, you are literally made of love. it’s your super power.
that being said, it’s your job to assess people’s capacity to reciprocate your energy before you start offering yourself up. it’s okay to stay sweet, just have the discernment to see the difference between bees and flies. this will save you lots of time.
intention and impact are two different things. be self aware. stay accountable. we owe that to one another. relationships of any kind require effort. gentle confrontation led by curiosity is your friend. speak up, a simple conversation can be so healing. life is to short not to love on your people or to stay angry over petty things.
it’s okay to revoke access to you whenever that makes sense for you. no one is entitled to space in your life, let people fumble you. consider yourself first or no one will think they should. don’t take things personally. we all have things we carry.
life is too short to not be living how you like. but life is long enough for you to figure it out. start over a thousand times if you need to. you are never stuck. you are never lost. stay curious about everything.
befriend your grief and let it change you for the better. pain is a portal. it’s alchemy. make art that you enjoy. be unapologetically, fearlessly, you, that’s how your people will find you.
you just get one body in this life time, take care of it and it’ll take care of you. changes made out of self love are more sustainable than those made out of self loathing. fall in love with systems and the process of becoming. the real beauty is how you move in the world, not what you look like. lastly, for the best sleep, always try your best everyday.

I started this drawing more than a year ago. About 15 hours in I got bored of it, or maybe I realized I’d bit off more than I could chew and found myself discouraged—I stopped working on it. There it was, in my bedroom, haunting me. It felt like a symbol of an almostness that was following me around. I had a long period of stillness in my life that I was mistaking for stagnation. Sometimes God slows life down for us to help us get our intentions clear. So after a year of staring at it, and some soft encouragement from people who also saw it sitting there collecting dust, I started working on it again. I didn’t shame myself about it, I just chipped away at it very slowly over the course of the last three months. And now it’s done haunting me, I can stop staring at my feet.
